Our annual cybersecurity event returns on the  20th of May 2026 bringing together IT, security, and technology leaders for a half-day of real-world insight, expert discussion, and practical strategy.

📅 Wednesday 20th May 2026
🕗 08:00 – 14:00
📍 Hilton, St Julian's

Why Should you be in the Room?

Stay Ahead of the Threat
The threat landscape is shifting fast. From ransomware-as-a-service to AI-assisted attacks, this event gives you the intelligence and frameworks to act before incidents happen... not after!

Learn From Those Who've Faced It
Hear directly from practitioners, analysts, and advisors who manage real-world cyber risk every day. Case studies, live scenarios, and honest retrospectives - not polished sales narratives.

Build Your Malta Security Network
Connect with IT managers, CISOs, compliance leads, and tech executives. The conversations that happen in the room are often as valuable as the sessions themselves.

Registration is now closed

If you’re still interested in attending, please reach out to us at marketing@bmit.com.mt and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

What Is The Cybersecurity Imperative?

Now in its fourth year, The Cybersecurity Imperative has established itself as one of Malta's leading forums for cybersecurity professionals, IT leaders, and business decision-makers. Each edition brings together the sharpest minds in the field to cut through the noise - no vendor fluff, no abstract theory, just honest conversations about the threats, decisions, and strategies that matter.

This year's event puts the spotlight on three of the most pressing challenges facing organisations in Malta and beyond: strategic security leadership, proactive threat management, and the shift from detection to response. Whether you're building out your security function, stress-testing your current posture, or making the case for investment to the board, this half-day is built for you.
